The Yosemite Light DeviantArt 900k kiriban winner is... :iconredviper163:! Congratulations! I'll try not to take an eternity to deliver your tickled Overwatch girl-- whoops, I mean your prize pic. :iconteeheeheeplz: As well as all other arts I'm owing right now, but at least until this 21st it'll be kinda hard to drive any attention to the drawing board... :D

Speaking of which, I have to confess my drawing mojo haven't been the same lately - by "lately" I don't mean "since the Summer Olympics began" but more like "since this year began" or anything around that. It's not really about having something more interesting to do, it's about losing some interest on it. ^^; As a matter of fact it has been harder to build inspiration to draw, even if all my usual inspiration sources still there. And when inspiration sources are not working, trying anything different or new is a good option, as long as it's something you want to (definitive solutions like moving away from Brazil at once or at least going on another big touring trip are not too possible right now, unfortunally). In my case, I was considering something that has been lurking around my mind since I started to do homemade comics on used school notebooks, nearly two decades ago: having another creation not related to 'The Homeheroes'.

During such time, some ideas came to mind, all of them following the same cartoony, humorous style of The Homeheroes. The only one that actually became something, even for a short living, was a sci-fi one about two Martians and their adventures across the Milky Way. Other ones that didn't make past the sketchbooks were one about a Brazilian task force, with quite a dark humor and plenty of criticism, another one about a team of treasure hunters and even a "spokon" one - only not porperly in manga style - about Gaelic football being worldwidely popular. The only idea for a parallel creation that still alive on my mind is a fantasy one, quite like that "Japanese RPG fantasy" with plenty of steampunk touches and quite some influence from that Samurai Jack dystopian world. I've been wondering if maybe this is a good time to resume its sketches and see where this is going. :giggle:

Well... thanks for reading some more idle chitchat from yours truly. See you all! Peace Out! :w00t:

Not every day Brazil hosts an event like the Olympics
