Long story short, I woke up one bright october morning and the first piece of news I had was my old man leaving in a couple of hours to the state capital city to drive brother and his family to meet a games creation school they've heard about recently. Since dad invited me to go along considering there was a vacant spot at his car I didn't think twice. We'd all be pleased to know that there'd be a games creation school some 40 miles away, something we'd never expect, and we were looking forward just to see it with our own eyes, to get to know how it works and whatnot, but actually joining it was for another future occasion IF possible, considering our current financial situation and how such a thing would be somewhat out of our league.
Thing is... the attendands received us SO well I guess it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that, the more they kept showing us everything around while we'd also would eventually ask some questions and clarify some doubts here and there, the more a "chemistry" between all of us began involving the atmosphere, and there was also a small quiz for us to test our knowledge about computers, which we practically nailed it. As a result, the wee visit with no commitments began an admission. We signed the contracts and received an unexpectedly massive discount on both admission and monthly fees that dropped all the prices by half or less than half, can't remember it well. All what I remember is that it was such an incredible discount mom even concerned if it could be a scam of some sort. (And she's got a good point, I have to confess, considering how things are these days specially in this country).
Ah, yes, this course we applied for is not only about games, but computer graphics and animations as well. (www.saga.art.br/ sorry in advance if the link doesn't work or is region-blocked)
Well now, gotta get some good sleep now for the first class. Actually... mostly for the fact I'll be driving 40 miles to have this first class (and all others each saturday morning for the next 27 months ). See ya! Peace out!

Oiling my OCs
My first and current art for this year's painting classes at art school. :D But this here is in a smaller canvas - 30x30cm, compared to that 'Dame Renard Au Nuit' one (40x50cm). Chances are I finish it this evening.
Thing is, my teacher liked the idea more than I expected he would. He doesn't really know my neverending cast of OCs or my dA account (and so doesn't any of my classmates), but even so he suggested that, if I have more cartoony characters to pick, I paint other three 30x30cm canvas fo them and put them together in a square formation. Needless to say this idea sounded too appealing to refuse. =p
See ya! Peace Out! Take care! :w00
So long, Carnaval...
Gotta confess, every year Carnaval feels like brief holidays to me. Four days with no duties, no tasks, no nothing, just binging on movies and TV, gaming here and there, visiting friends and family, having fun to the point of completely ignoring the clock. Never been the kind of joining the street festivities really. :D Maybe it's the lack of a nearby one - there's no Carnaval street parties in a radius of about 400 sq mi from where I live, so in my case you need to hit the road if you want to shake your booty in the middle of a heated dancing crowd to the nonstop sound of samba -, maybe it's just a matter of habit, this is one I never develo
Out with request, on with the rest
So, as I stated last year, this is the last request lottery I'll ever do. I mean, I seriously don't see myself getting back with them. They've been fun to do, of course, but not really that worthy to keep it on year after year. Besides, ask a lot of artists around: free art attracts a swarm of undesirable people never seen before, craving for some free drawing. Considering in the last year I haven't been spending as much time drawing or lurking around the web as I used to, adding to the fact I got more art to take care of regarding that graphic design/animation/2D games classes (just for this month I got logos, a vector art of Shy Guy and an
Commissions?
Then how about cheking out our fellow SkyJinks (https://www.deviantart.com/skyjinks)'s options? :) I know I will! :aww: At least a sketch for now...
As for me, I'll be tackling pending commissions one by one as soon as this Request Lottery ends. And remember how I said I'd be quitting them after I finish the current queue? I'm reconsidering about that, atlhough for now I won't take any new ones, but I may open slots as soon as I take care of what I already got.
See ya! Peace out! :w00t:

Well I'll be damned that great to hear! Thats an awesome opportunity to get more experience in the field of design, especially with games and software too ^^ 40 miles though? XD Thats...a trip. I thought maybe there could be some kinda lodgings there? Maybe its not too college-like, even though it sounds like it X3 Best of luck on your journey bud! :3
